Still remember the golden age of French HipHop in the late 90's when Les Refrés ("The Brothas" in english) were released L'Or Noir ("Black Gold")on their EP "What did you make at the school?" produced by a certain Kesdo (very closed to the ATK crew even if I wasn't really down with them, I'd rather like the Time Bomb !! hell yeah ! they were much better) whom sampled Charles Aznavour 6 years before Marco Polo ... a true classic French gem ... wit' fat basslines ... trust me.

Damn ! this dude got some ill lyrics if you can understand French, besides he composed amazin' melodies wit' kinda dark and jazzy arrangements ... also sampled by Dr Dre (What's the difference ?), Ed O.G. (don't remember the track) and many others ...
Personally I bought the Platinium - which contains 3 CD's for the Mother's day and it's dope !!! - if you like it, support the artist, buy it ... but if you tried to sample Aznavour BEWARE ! hiphop+sample+aznavour= LAWSUIT *Those which tested are totally Ruined.
